Garfinkel,Simson L., Grunspan, Rachel H.(2018) The Computer Book: From The Abacus To Artificial Intelligence, 250 Milestones In The History Of Computer Science, Sterling, p.202/607によると、Mk VIIは、「デカトロン冷陰極真空管利用による設計上の欠陥により、Mk VII機はわずか千台しか作られなかった」(Only a thousand Mk VII machines were made, due to a design flaw resulting from the use of Dekatron cold-cathode vacuum tubes.)。
